Ottawa’s Latest Addition to the Soccer Community.

Julian de Guzman (JDG) Park joined Ottawa’s soccer landscape in 2022. With a strong local connection and a story that can inspire any athlete, Canadian soccer legend, Julian de Guzman, made the perfect namesake for the facility. The 6-acre outdoor soccer facility consists of two state-of-the-art soccer pitches: an artificial turf stadium field with lights and a new natural grass field.

Logo Design to Foster Brand Awareness Within the Soccer Community

When tasked with developing a brand identity for Julian de Guzman park, we collaborated with key stakeholders to better understand their vision and requirements.

Paying homage to traditional soccer logo design while seamlessly blending modern typographic elements, the result is a crisp, bold, and vibrant identity that showcases the sport and sets the field apart from others in the city of Ottawa.

Landing Page Design to Drive Reservations

Though creating a website for a soccer pitch may seem unconventional, JDG Park required an online method for field reservations and team bookings. With the intent to streamline the process and ease administrative requirements, our team developed a landing page that integrated a booking capability and highlighted key features and history of the field.

Marketing Material & Branded Merchandise

Building awareness and engaging with potential project sponsors created the need for compelling marketing material and merchandise. As such, our team leveraged the newly created brand to develop a sponsor/advertising package, marketing material, and custom merchandise for corporate sponsors.
